Petitioning volunteers meet across from the Addison Street Red Line Station (near the intersection of Halsted and Addison) at 3 PM. Barbeque following petitioning RSVP to citizens@schlorff.com if you want to get fed at the barbeque or if you need clipboards.
Each petitioning volunteer is asked to provide four clipboards for their own use, but some will be available at the check-in site.
Volunteers should pick up 12 petition sheets, one hundred ILGP pamphets and a handful of platform booklets.
When these sheets are full, petitioning volunteers should come back to the check-in site (Addison Street Redline station) to deposit their sheets.
Following these activities Dan Rodriguez Schlorff will host a barbeque/notary party at:
Time: 7:00 pm
Location: 853 W. Newport Ave. 60657 (on Newport Avenue between Clark and Halsted) which is two blocks South of Wrigley Field.
At 9 PM, petitioning volunteers will be asked to disperse to
1. Half of the volunteers will petition the staight clubs and comedy clubs on Clark and Addison (the area surrounding Wrigley Field) Reference point--11 pm Doors open to the "Street Machines" concert at the Metro (3730 N Clark St. 60613)
2. The other half will petition the vegetarian crowd on Belmont Street and the gay clubs on Halsted Street. Reference points- The Chicago (Vegetarian Diner) 3411 N. Halsted St. 60656 and teh Alley Shops (3228 N. Clark St. 60657)
