FRIDAY:  April 28th, 2006

  • Registration and Exhibits Open at SCC - 8:00a.m.

  • Cache River Wetland Center Open - 8:00a.m.

  • Photo Contest & Wildlife Art Show

  • Mobile Science Center (at the Wetland Center) will be open for students and visitors

  • Recognition of the Wolff Memorial Wetland - 1:30p.m. followed by a public reception at the Cache River Basin Vineyard and Winery.

  • Pilgrimage to find the Grail Bird by Tim Gallagher at SIU Carbondale, Lesar Law School Auditorium - 7:00p.m.    

SATURDAY:  April 29th, 2006

  • Birding Blitz Competition Begins - 12:00a.m.

  • Cache River Wetland Center Open - 8:00a.m.

  • Mobile Science Center at the Wetland Center, Open - 8:00a.m.

  • Programs/Guided Tours Kick-off  

  • Photo Exhibit and Wildlife Art Show

  • Wild Bird Programs at the Wetland Center - 11:30a.m. & 1:30p.m.

  • Evening of music, wine, food, and fun at the Cache River Basin Vineyard and Winery.  Raffle Program will also take place.

  • Prowl for Owls (evening program) - 7:30p.m. 

SUNDAY:  April 30, 2006

  • Cache River Wetland Center Open - 9:00p.m.

  • Birding Blitz Brunch & Awards Ceremony - 9:00a.m. to 12noon at Shawnee Community College
