It is important that a program be set up in order to reward and encourage petitioners for the \softline
Illinois Green Party State Slate petition drive.   Rather than distributing items on a general basis, \softline
a per signature incentive program should be set up.\par
\par

Area coordinators will keep track of who collects how many signatures.  They will report these \softline
numbers to the petition drive incentive coordinator who will then mail items to either the \softline
coordinator or the signature gatherer. \par
\par
Any items ordered that are not used for incentives can later be sold at ILGP fundraisers and \softline
events.  Nothing will go unused.\par
\par
People who do not wish to receive incentives can certainly do so.\par
\par
Keep in mind that the 25,500 signatures is what is being rewarded.  This does not factor in \softline
people who go over the signature requirements but don't quite reach the next level. \par
