Hello Greens,
I look forward to seeing you at our membership meeting and state convention in Peoria on March 28th-30th. I am writing to invite everyone to participate in our silent auction, which takes place during the Saturday evening dinner on March 29th.
First, we ask you to join us by donating and then by bidding on one or more of our exciting and/or unusual offerings. With all of us contributing different items, I’m sure we will have great packages to bid on. Use your imagination! Here are just a few ideas: gift cards, books, gardening baskets, fair trade items (coffee/tea/chocolate), wine and cheese baskets, movie passes/baskets, memberships, Green items, restaurant certificates, or anything else that you can put together.
If by some chance you can’t imagine anything (usual or unusual), you may send a check to us and we’ll choose something amazing for you: Maegan or Vicki Gilliland, phone 309-202-6325, 1002 Park Ave , Pekin , IL 61554 . If you are local, we will arrange a drop-off point for you. Please mail any contributions as soon as possible to give us ample time to prepare the packages! (We’d even appreciate an email letting us know your check is on the way) With everyone contributing something - big or small - we will have an amazing silent auction and a very profitable fundraiser for our Green Party.
Can’t make it to the state convention this month? You can still contribute to the silent auction - some extra green will be very helpful!
