All are invited to celebrate with the Illinios Green Party and watch returns come in following the state's historic first statewide Green Primary.

Tuesday's primaries in Illinois, California, Arkansas and Massachusetts will be the nation's first contests involving Green presidential candidates in 2008. In Illinois, four presidential candidates will appear on the ballot:
Jared Ball of Washington, DC; Howie Hawkins of New York (a stand-in for Ralph Nader); Cynthia McKinney of California; and Kent Mesplay of California. There will also be several uncontested races across the state for
Congress, state representative and county/local offices.
