ILLINOIS GREEN PARTY TO HOLD STATE CONVENTION IN PEORIA, MARCH 28-30
The Illinois Green Party will hold its state convention this weekend in Peoria,
Friday, March 28, through Sunday, March 30. A top item on the agenda will be the
slating of candidates for a variety of federal, state and local offices, including
U.S. Senate. The party will also be planning for and choosing delegates to the Green
Party National Convention, to be held July 10-13 in Chicago; revising its platform and

bylaws; and meeting to slate candidates for various offices around the state.
