For the vast majority of precincts, February 5th will be the first time a Green primary ballot will be available. The Illinois Green Party has contacted election authorities reminding them that they must offer all ballots to voters. However, Greens may encounter some inconsistencies on Election Day. When you arrive at the polling place, specimen ballots of each established party should be posted. You should be asked to state your name, residence, and party affiliation. The primary judge should then announce this information loud enough for all persons in the polling place to hear.
