The following candidates are recognized by the Illinois Green Party as members of the Green Party and as candidates for the position identified. The only exception to these requirements is for efforts to draft a presidential candidate. Listing of these candidates is for information only and is not an indication of endorsement by the Illinois Green Party. Please use this list as a starting point for making an informed choice in selection of Green Party candidates in the 2008 primary elections on February 5, 2008.

In addition to the petition signature sheets, candidates also need to file a Statement of Candidacy, and, depending on the nature of their petitions, and depending on the office, a Statement of Economic Interests and a Certificate of Deletions.
