Would you like someone from the Green Party to speak at your school or community event? We would love the opportunity to join you and bring an independent political perspective.

The following Green Party members are part of our Speakers Bureau (subject to availability):

Dan Rodriguez-Schlorff

citizens@schlorff.com

Dan Rodriguez-Schlorff earned his entire post-secondary education in Illinois, concluding with a master's degree from Meadville-Lombard Theological School, offered in cooperation with the University of Chicago.  He serves on the Finance Committee for the Green Party of the United States and is immediate past Co-Chair of the Editorial Board for the Green Party of the United States.  Schlorff works with grants and procurement for a development firm and has invested since age ten.  He breaks several glass ceilings in 2006: (1) as the first person of Asian descent to run for a statewide office in Illinois, (2) as the first openly gay candidate to run for a statewide office in Illinois, (3) at the age of twenty-six, being the youngest candidate ever to appear in the general election for a statewide office, and (4) as the first Green Party candidate to run for Illinois State Treasurer.

Dorian Breuer

dbreuer@yahoo.com

Dorian Breuer is a member of the Coordinating Committee of the Illinois Green Party and member of the Pilsen Greens.  He is also co-founder of the Pilsen Environmental Rights and Reform Organization, an environmental justice organization working on the southwest side of Chicago to clean the environment from pollution by small and large sources of toxic pollution. Dorian serves on the board of directors of the World Federalist Association of Chicago, the Nuclear Energy Information Service of Evanston and the Citizens Utility Board. He is also a candidate for Illinois State Senate, 1st District.
