IGP/GPUS Need YOUR Help Today!
A message from Marc Sanson requesting donations to the IGP and GPUS.
Greens and Friends,
Both the Green Party of the United States and the Illinois Green Party need your help today. With rising ABB sentiment and competition for funds with many local and state campaigns, both the national and state coffers have dipped to dangerously low levels. We need you to visit www.gp.org, click on the red 'Donate' button and make a contribution today! (I just did).
Half of all donations contributed through the GP website will be shared with your state and local parties, so this is a great way to help GPUS and the IGP at the same time. Please make the decision to become a sustaining donor at $5, $10 or $25 a month. If you can't be a sustainer, your one-time donation of $25 or $50 would be a huge
help.
Currently many programs of both GPUS and IGP are on hold awaiting the success of our current fundraising efforts. The programs on hold include:

- Seed funding of state and local candidates
- National direct mail program to increase membership for our state and local parties
- Direct communication with our membership to get stronger grassroots involvement in the party.
- Speaker Tours designed to increase participation and membership by traditionally underrepresented and oppressed groups
- Public relations media material (print, audio and vidio) for distribution to state and local parties for outreach and education efforts
